Why was Barba sacked?

He was sacked because Mike Ford the coach of Toulon ( who signed Barba) was sacked a month ago, Barba does not fit into the owner of Toulon's plans. Whilst he is not keen to return to Aus or rather he has a 12 match ban pending for testing positive for cocaine ( apparently second time this happened) would want to know if rehabilitation he went on worked..

Surely not much use to Saints or Warrington if it's decided he has to serve his 12 game RL suspension in SL if coming here?

The RFL already said his NRL ban would be honored in the SL so if anyone did sign him he would not play until the end of the 8's

Looks like Johnny Lomax will be leaving Saints at the end of the season. I wonder where he'll end up. With his injury record, he'd be a huge gamble

That's a shame for both parties but it just seems that his body is not up to the rigours of professional rugby league.

I have seen this kid twice now on TV - he is 17 years old and we should sign him now.
He is star of the future - he will England`s hooker & will probably finish up in Australia, but he looks absolute class and we should throw the cheque book at Widnes.
Sign him now to join us next season . Remember you heard it here first.
