Big difference in kicking game quality and Leeds lost too much ball in the wet.
When the flat line off the cuff stuff does not work it looks awful. Too much lateral running as well.
Bit unlucky with some ref's calls.
Thought hudds were very motivated and compressed defence worked very well for them.
Personal view is Moon will be one of the Leeds halves for a few years to come. IMO his kicking games is better than some give him credit for and the bottom line is he is a better overall player than any other HB option Leeds have. I understand the view that he is not a traditional 6/7. I can't see Leeds signing a better player than him for next season
This was the big issue for me, only Garbutt was willing to run it hard up the guts no stop which is what it needed from the whole team the full 80 in those conditions to buy us field position. We rarely got it in the first half and look what happened when we did, Parcel scoots through untouched.
Huddersfield are a poor team on the ropes and we gifted them field position for a whole half almost willing them to gain confidence and with brough and his kicking game 'on' that was always asking for trouble. Personally i'm not going to start going over the top and pointing fingers at individuals after one awful performances as the team have already proved this year they can respond to a bad loss, but i'm still struggling to see a successful group of players here if we are talking silverware chances anyway but the hard facts are we sit in a far better position than the majority thought we would at this stage despite this setback.
