Yes, but who wasnt linked to us, i heard a rumour Lord Lucan was lining up a bid. Everyday for those dark 2 weeks of hell there was some chancer or charlatan lining up phantom bids.

I'm not convinced. Kilkenny is only 22/23 and was oustanding for the last part of the season IMO. Not sure Wellens will have forgiven us for trying to boot him out of the playoff final just over a year ago.
