I'd take Sharp as compensation for Beckford, no money need change hands IMO. If they want to give us 2 million that would be great.

if they gave us £2million it wouldn't be spent on players anyway it would go straight into Bates's bank account so yeah a straight swap for Billy Sharp would do fine.

Without Bates there would be no club. It won't have come for free, and I doubt he has done it for free either. No problems for me.

However, with decent investment in the squad, we could be back in the Prem in 2 or 3 years, and he could sell us for a huge profit.

Bates loves muppets like yourself who swallow his propaganda. Sooner LUFC gets rid of Bates, the sooner the real Leeds United can move on to where we should be.

Its muppets like you who don't live in the real world. LUFC would have gone to the wall, without Bates. Now I don't agree with all that he's done, but we still have a club. Who would you replace Bates with then. Which great Leeds fans came looking to invest at any point in the last 5 years?

I doubt he loves me. Even being an armchair fan is too much for me at times.

My sole expenditure wrt Lufc these last 2 seasons is:
2 x shirt bought for me, without my asking
1 x match.

Come on Leicester, that was proven as not true in the recent court case evidence. Also proven when 5 other consortiums tried to buy them in the Administration process.

Your kidding yourself if you think Bates wants this club to get promoted just yet. He is happy pocketing the sky high ticket prices that the gullible fans still give to him. The crowds would not go up if Leeds were promoted, it would be the same. Only extra money he would get would be TV revenue, which would be offset by higher wages to players, and the fact he has to pay the former creditors a higher pence per pound if promoted.

Its better for him been stuck in this league for a bit longer. Of course I am a cynic where pappa smurf is concerned, but you would have a job convinging me I am wrong.
