According to Sky Brentford want £25m for Watkins and same for Benrahma. Several prem teams want them too. Watkins does not have £18m buy out clause

he is not worth 25 million imo, done well at championship level yes but for that price you can find a proven top level striker from the european leagues. 15 million would be a fair price for Watkins and 20 for Benrahma in the current economic climate.Truth is now they have missed out on promotion they are not really in a position to price out players who likely want to move on up to bigger things.

of course if there is a bidding war between multiple clubs then they may get a bit more but i wouldn't want us to be involved at those figures the extra money would be better spent plugging the defence.

Yeah agree. It would be a big big gamble. The question is can we afford to take it... I’d look at someone like Giroud. Should be available cheaply and scores plenty in prem. Depends if Bielsa thinks they are mobile enough I suppose

Danny Ings is the only one I'd take from those 3 over Watkins, and after the season he's had, he'd probably cost at least £40m

Adams will start alongside Ings next season, and Giroud is 34 and in 110k a week. No chance.
