Thank god you are not running the club. Hetberington might well be getting some over the top comments, but anyone who thinks one position will take us from cellar dwellers to challengers is simply off their rocker.

It will no doubt take us back into the eights, But is that the peak of our ambitions now? It will get us nowhere near the top four. We would not even be Castleford standard. You should strengthen from a position of strength, that is where Hetherington failed on this occasion. But when the chips are down, you don't rest on your laurels, you do something about it, and this is where he needs to make up for it.

Don't know where you get your rubbish from sometimes. Do you deliberately seek attention? 7 wins from 8 including Hull and Wigan shows us where we are. We are the form team. Get Ward back and a creative halfback and we'll be fine.

Beating Hudds, Hull and Saints on the way to winning the Challenge Cup (for the 2nd year running) by a record scoreline, backed up by winning the league after playing some of the best RL we've seen in years, swiftly followed by beating Saints in the semi and Wigan in the GF isn't a blip.

Anyone that can put that kind of achievement down as "a blip" is a total moron although you've proved yourself to be one of those on many occasions so...

You need some reading lessons I think - where did I ever say these players were no good? That's just a figment of your delusional imagination.

What I said was that having a great captain on the field and a tough culture setter of the field gave these players a platform on which some of them and I never mentioned any names yet another figment of the void between your ears - looked better than the actually are. Take that comfort blanket away and some look very exposed.

Danny McGuire does not fall into that category - so do not misquote me again

This year's form is surely a much better indicator as to where they are at than what happened when they were part of a team/culture that possibly made them look better than they actually are?

And if I do "misquote" you again (not that I did), what will you do?
Make something up then hurl abuse at me for days on end before doing a runner and going into hiding for a week when you get found out? ......again.

Im not sure we need a creative halfback, I think McGuire Sutcliffe Segyaro (if he stays) Burrow and our outside backs have a lot of points in them.

What we are missing is a 'little general' type half of the Adam Reynolds mould, who has a good kicking game and will give us some better shape and organise the team in a way that our more creative players get more opportunities.

Lilly could be a long term option in this role, but he needs a few more years to hone his skills, either in a reserve team or on loan.

Dear me, you do realise we have played Featherstone and Hull KR twice in those seven? Wakefield put sixty past Wigan, and Cas comfortably best Hull just last week. If we were playing in the top eights now, we would lose each week.

People don't seem to understand the difference in what Leeds do and what other clubs do. The change around in Leeds in the league this year is that Leeds went massively backwards in strength, whereas the competition strengthened. Those same teams will strengthen again, If Leeds don't surely people are not really that silly that they can not see the outcome?

The original post of a halfback, would have been correct a year ago. Now though we are also short in many other areas because of age and body condition. And still the major decision to be made, which in its self would be an improvement, has still not been announced.

Great to see Leeds dominating again.

Can they go unbeaten in this league?

The key decision is what happens with Hardaker. If he stays/returns then firstly it alters the style of attack as he's different to Sutcliffe there.

It then has a knock on effect on halfbacks, which then has a potential knock on effect of who plays as a backup hooker and also potentially if we can send Lilley out on loan to get some more game time and experience.

Poor bloke, his body has been broken for at least the past two seasons (not including this one).

If anyone deserves a testimonial, he does. Unfortunately, he won't qualify.
