Yeah good player, but if everybody is fit is he our first choice fullback? I am not convinced he is.

Not sure anymore, but very rare to have a player who is international quality anywhere in the backline. Just slots in seamlessly…..

He's not a great player but would have been an upgrade on Sutcliffe. He didn't play many games for the Titans this year and was previously released by the Cowboys. I guess we'll need to wait to see what happens with the Leutele-MacDonald manoeuvres.

Despite what sone think, we will muss Sutcliffe, and with Newman out until March/April it’s imperative we tie up Hardaker, which i think we will, plus another centre which i think RS as lined up.

Edwards looked good for York last night. One of those natural athletes where everything looks easy for him. Would Hardaker, another centre AND the return of Edwards be necessary?

Suspect there may be a bit of a gulf in terms of what hardaker thinks he's worth and what Leeds do. Basically, he's cover if we've an incoming replacement for Sutcliffe.

yes, he had a really good second half once they got him some ball, and busted a gut to get back and defend when needed - was good to see for the young kid
as good a prospect he is though, i think it'd be too early to pin our full time centre hopes on him. maybe in another season or two

I agree yeah maybe not week in week out yet. But Hardaker and Newman are starting centres, with Edwards, Simpson, Martin, possibly olpherts seems like a lot of back up.

Has olpherts been confirmed yet?

Thing is - how many will Harry play? If fit of course he plays, but will we get 20 games plus out of him next year? I really hope so, but think Rohan needs to cover his bets. I'd go for Nene McDonald. Would deliver some real strike.
