Yes Hurrell is our only Marquee. We have bags of cap space. Whether we have the ability to fill it is a different question and given recent comments from the club i suspect not. We have a fair bit of pain to come yet imo

For vme the best centres are lean, athletic and skillfully. Think Jamie Lyin, Matt Gidley, Joel Moon.
Surely it's time to move Hurrell into the pack, spell him for 40 mins a game and get some impact. Think a new centre could be a priority......

With hisbhandling skills, I'd be reluctant to move him into the pack. Increase his workload and we'll probably see more turnovers. I'd prefer to see him work on his fitness and leave him at centre

If you think all those three players are the same build, then not sure you have the correct names.

Jamie Lyon was notorious for weight issues throughout his career.

Before a ball was kicked this season on paper when you look at the back row options it was clear to see it was low on quality:

Mellor ( Too be fair i was sceptical when we signed him but he has been very good )
Martin ( No issues )
L. Sutcliffe ( Not really a back rower, we don't really know his best position )
Donaldson ( Will give you effort but not high on quality )
Walters ( Not played a game yet )
Smith ( one of the first names on the team sheet but is an out and out 13 )

If Mellor is out this week throw in Walters. Lets stop talking about the the great kids we have and give them a shot.

We had Stevie Ward at the start of the season and WHEN on the pitch one of the best back rowers in the comp

Just read a tweet from Darcy Lussick "technically stranded in UK no visa so can't work no help to get back to Australia as promised. About to be evicted from my house. A lot of people have had it worst than me"..

Feel very sorry for him and his fellow players. What a shambles. Does not look good on RL. Sounds like he’s desperate to get back to Aus too which is maybe why we’re not in for him

Think Mellor could be out a while. Hes having a scan for knee ligament damage.
