We are desperate for more quality. Lolohea is a great start - but we need loads + loads + loads + loads more.

We need another 4 or 5 very good players to bring us back to something like the level needed to fill the shiny new stadium.

Centre, wing, 2 BRs in my opinion

Prop we’re ok for now. Unless a more permanent deal for crosby which might be cheapish and not take up quota spots.

Ablett, Delaney, jjb and Ward are way too old/injury prone to be relied upon.

If parcel goes then obviously we’d need to replace him also. But hopefully he stays.

I also think having an 80% goal kicker makes a massive difference. In both 2016 and 18 where we have struggled we have lost many close games by a poor kicking rate.

Watkins kicked well last year and to be fair Sutcliffe has done well since he’s changed his technique to something v similar to Kevs. Plus the new guy can kick.

And also I think it’s time we put more structures into our games. Playing what’s infront of you only worked if you have your best 17 players on the field. As soon as injuries hit that game plan (or lack of one) goes out eh window. We need some basic structures like Wigan or cas to fall back on when we need a plan B.

Kev alluded to this in his first post match presser when he said he didn’t feel we’d earned the right to play what’s infront of us yet and that comes when you’re playing well.

Wing/FB and a good player.

Centre - Heffernan from KR

BRs - look overseas.

Physically he leaves a lot to be desired. He actually gets into quite a lot of one-on-one situations, often near the oppo's line. Problem is, invariably he then gets taken man and ball. If he could punch a hole, having the happy knack of putting himself in the right position to do so, he'd actually be pretty decent either at centre of 2nd row IMO.

True enough. However, getting 4 or 5 quality players in the positions we most need them will be very, very tricky. These days, clubs do well to lure even one quality NRL player while some close seasons in the British game don't see that number of quality players changing clubs in total, let alone to one destination.

I'd put a big offer in for Mcgillvary personally. We need a big signing to lift the team. Either that or a good offer for one of our rivals best forwards (a peacock esq signing)

Agreed, that’s why I think it could take 2-3 years to get us back up there.

Is there anyone out there available or get-able of Peacock's quality?

Think a couple of Aussie backrows in the mould of a Furner would see you ok.
