I thought he was ok like he often has been this season but the problem is he wasn't subbed off until the 64th minute and then back on in the 74th minute. Way too long in that opening stint. Should be off after 25/30 mins, back on after 55/60 mins. Leaves him with two roughly 25 minute spells with a good gap in between.

You gave a totally negative opinion which contained no balance to credit his 46 tackles and the most carries.. Now that was stupid. You didn't have to be at the match to realise this was a flawed opinion. No matter what you now try and back track on.

So are you also running down his contribution to the game? Is it fair to pick on our top tackler and not value his positive contribution. Not being at the game does not undermine in any way the facts I pointed out that were unreported by the self appointed critic.

To choose to be critical of a player who made a major contribution is what is ridiculous. To not report the positive facts of his big efforts is a flawed comment in my book. My comment did no more than report the official stats which did not require my attendance to be valid.

I can understand of course why this logic is lost on you though.

Your logic is ridiculous. You can not say, or nobody with an ounce of sense would do, that someone's opinion if flawed when you haven't even seen what they were forming that opinion on.

Whether he reports positive things is irrelevent. The discussion he had was on the actual impact of those stats, which are not as clear as numbers.

I look at Printers post, and he is alluding to something spot on, limiting JJB time may well lower those stats, but the impact of it may be far greater for the team. This is what you are failing to grasp, despite people there watching it.

You can say what you like but 46 tackles in a game and topping the number of carries is a JP like performance and like JP that sort of effort will naturally slow you down so the odd miss will happen. To put the negative ahead of the positive shows an unbalanced judgement.

Statistics can be used to support a point, they cannot be the point.

I do agree however 46 tackles is an official fact while opinions are just that.
