Your logic is ridiculous. You can not say, or nobody with an ounce of sense would do, that someone's opinion if flawed when you haven't even seen what they were forming that opinion on.
Whether he reports positive things is irrelevent. The discussion he had was on the actual impact of those stats, which are not as clear as numbers.
I look at Printers post, and he is alluding to something spot on, limiting JJB time may well lower those stats, but the impact of it may be far greater for the team. This is what you are failing to grasp, despite people there watching it.
