according to the national curriculum, racism is holding prejudice beliefs against someone (or a group of people) because of their race or nationality (with racialism being acting on your racist beliefs).
And according to the oxford english dictionary, racism is: • noun 1 the belief that there are characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to each race. 2 discrimination against or antagonism towards other races.
note that neither take into account whether the 'offernder' (for lack of a more fitting term) is part of the 'powered majority'

I'm only telling you what I was instructed as a social services worker in an ethnic strong hold of my city! That was ten years ago! But I know my fello ethnic workers and my line managers held firm to those rules.

To me thats not saying, there are different definitions, the one i go on is the one i was taught as blah blah, instead you were saying: you are wrong my definition is the correct one. And i dont think you were right to say that.

Btw, what did Johns actually say? I didnt see anything in the link All i could see was that it was a racist comment
