chanting of the player who caused the injuries names then some times booing the injured player off the pitch.
Have you got any examples of this? I have to concur that I haven't been to Headingley as much as I used to in recent years, but I am still at a loss to recall a time where an injured player has left the pitch to an echo of boos.
You're still twisting the incidents DoubleAlone. JW didn't jump and celebrate LB being unconscious and suffering a broken jaw. He jumped and celebrated the big hit, that is all. You are quite clearly taking something, twisting it on it's booty and then complaining over it like someone who is a bit daft and just wants to have a go at some other fans. You keep spouting on about your opinion, but base those opinions on facts and those facts from the sequence of events that actually happened not the ones you are making up to suit a pathetic argument.
Remember, our game is a massive high impact high speed contact sport. Players go out and bash each other every weekend and for that 80 minutes they are enemies. Those guys still have the respect though to finish the game, shake hands and have a beer with each other, even if the game explodes into a mass brawl or one of them brakes a jaw in a collision. This is what separates our game (among a few other great things) from football, a sport full of namby pamby, whinging cry babies. Which type of fan are you?
I will tell you what I am....I am not a patronising prat who is either to stupid to read or must therefore be completely illiterate.
Our game is the best in the world IMHO played by some of the best athletes in the world at the SL level who mostly have well earned respect of their fellow pros.
I dot need you to tell me what the game is or isnt thank you very much.
NO one as complainerd about the injury to JP it was a complete accident has was the one suffered by Burgess.
I will tell you this though the Cas players and in particular JW are pathetic if they put as much effort into their HITS and CELEBRATIONS in the first 2 minutes instead of the last 2 minutes they might have earned some little respect.

Oh! so that's what it's about you don't like the fact they didn't lay down for you and put some effort in for 80 minutes, a young lad just starting his career makes an impression, you call him a disgrace, the only disgrace here is you - if you don't like the fact he was trying with 2 minutes left in the game, don't watch the sport then if it offends you so much
And you keep referring to the celebration - you watch every time there's a big hit or a forced knock on there's ALWAYS a celebration, EVERY team does it whether it's the first or last minute, give over with your agenda, you just look stupid.
Great hit that went slightly wrong, it deserved the celebration, and he rightly stopped when he saw the injury - nothing wrong at all, stop taking offence to something that you've blown out of proportion
The fact it was Chev made all the difference. Pryce and Eastmond weren't afforded such generous applause when they suffered injuries at Headingley. Some double-standards on display here IMHO. It's unfortunate for Luke but I don't think the kid has anything to beat himself up about. (Well maybe the dodgy 'Barnet').
thing is they limped off,and i for one didn't notice they were off as the game never stopped. players stretchered off always get a round of applause at leeds as they do every club.
fwiw i don't think there was anything wrong by the cas lad, just an accidental clash of heads

OMG if you think that was putting some effort in for 80 minutes
Your right they didnt lie down at least not for the last 5 minutes apart form that they were patsies couldnt pass catch or run.
I keep saying the hit was OK apart from it would have been better before their humiliating defeat rather than completely wasted in the last 2 minutes
Are you tellimg me he was totally unaware that there had been a head collision then he is totally thick headed then.
Not blown anything out of proportion just expressed an opinion that those particular celebrations were OTT and uncalled for.
Every big hit I've seen in the last 10 years that resulted in lost possession has always been greeted with back slapping and celebration, it's par for the course. It's only when there is an obvious injury people stop, just like what actually happened.
When did this become a nancy game ? or at least when did the fans ?

I've just been on the Wakey Board and guese who's the biggest numpty on there?
Take a bow fcukwit! You appear to make a career out of spouting crap and appear to be attempting to broaden your audience. You and that other braindead muppet Marshman, have been told on several occassions now that we accept that Walker was trying to put in a big hit....all perfectly Legal.... What he did do was a completely miss timed attempt...... that bordered on the reckless,...... and it was the clash of heads that caused the damage.
You still with us? THE CLASH OF HEADS!
We didn't like his celebrations afterwards, nor the chants from your gormless supporters, and to be honest I'm fed up with your whinging attempts at justifiying Friday night.
So do us all a favour, and depart soonest back to F'ktard land
Didnt JW appolgise though after he realised Burgess was injured?
If he did fair play. I dont have a problem with OTHER players running in and congratulating good play or big hits whatever thats par for the course and adds to the game
if its a good contest. but not 2 minutes from time from a heavy defeat just smacks of bitterness in my book.
I guess I have 2 main issues.
JW personal celebrations jumping about as if he had added anything to the game 2 minutes from time and over 30 points down is just pathetic
and secondly he must have known he had clashed heads and IMO he must have been aware almost instantly that Burgess was injured.
