Far better player than those two, and plenty of people scoffed when Cas signed Gale instead of paying a transfer for Sneyd, and they signed Paul mcshane. These type of players get over looked sometimes, but end up bring bery very good. Probably not on our radar anyway but i have always liked the look of him.

Why is it depressing? We can't go and sign internationals to fill every position, and have to be very choosy with NRL imports (why I'd not want to waste spots on wingers). Like others I think our rebuilding is going to take a couple of seasons, as our squad is in terrible shape in more ways than one. That means in some roles we're going to have to take a punt, at least until more of our quality juniors are ready to step up.

Watched Cunningham play in the 2 London games televised and don't think he is better than what we have already so cant see where he would fit unless parcel leaves and dwyer is given the 9 shirt

No offence to Dwyer or Cunningham but no team with aspirations of being a top 4 team would have either as first choice / starting 9.



Losing Parcell would be a massive loss.

If so it'll be interesting to find out why we didn't try harder to get him for this year. I can only think that its either because the club genuinely didn't realise how bad the squad is, or because they hoped Wests would release Lolohea (who in the end never played a game for Wests since we signed him).

Had Hastings signed for Salford before Sinfield joined? I think Sinfield is a fan of Hastings and visa versa.

I'm surprised he's coming at all then! what's betting he'll be off after the first year as looking after a newborn in a new country 13,000 miles away from family will be tough.

It's obviously not ideal, but presumably plenty of players have done it before.

How do we know his partner and child aren't coming over with him.

Lolohea playing reserve grade is nothing to do with having a baby - he's been deemed a reserve grade player in a team that didn't make the top 8 and would have been ruled out weeks ago but for continual slip ups by higher placed teams. Lolohea is at best third choice full back for Wests (where he's seemingly played most of the year for the Magpies in the NSW reserve comp) and fourrth or fifth halfback. He's definitely not a superstar, although he may go well in SL.
