So, if there’s no Salary Cap space to re-sign Zak, then we won’t be signing MacDonald or Olpherts. Neither of them are more important to this team than Zak Hardaker…

What a mess our Cap is in, GH said that the rebuild started in April when Rohan arrived, what a load of rubbish, it started in 2014, 8 years before…

Suspect some of these deals may already have been done. The Walker injury and lack of move to Hull is probably the fly in the ointment. Despite what Rohan is saying, maybe there are other cards up our sleeve in terms of keeping Zack.

If we’ve signed Olpherts or MacDonald and have to lose Zak that’s really terrible business… Zak came back in April, and you can’t even talk to players of others clubs until May 1st.

2024 is the real big recruitment drive isn't it.

And if that is the case, signing Olpherts is a bad idea. Unless it is strictly a 1yr deal. We don't need anymore players in their mid 30s on 2/3yr deals. It damages us too much.

The radio silence on Walker is interesting. He seems to be doing his own rehab/fitness, didn’t appear to be at the grand final, and with Tony smith coming in, doesn’t look wanted at Hull.

I would have thought the club are trying to find a different club to take him either on loan or permanently, but they’re unlikely to want to pay his wages.

Prior would be the other one it would good to encourage to leave.

Prior will be even more of a passenger next year, our pack will continue to be a concern til both him and Tetevano go.

It’s hard to make any sense of it based on what has been announced so far . We’ve let go of Briscoe, Dwyer, Mellor, Thompson, Muizz and Broadbent and Sutcliffe has gone to FC whilst under contract.
We’ve brought in two 19 year olds in Ruan and Warren. And 3 older projects with a handful of SL games between Sangare and McDonnell.

I reckon we must have signed at least MacDonald as we have nobody to play at left centre

The messages around the cap and recruitment are really concerning. How have we let all those players go yet still have no space, it doesnt add up even accounting for improved contracts. We were short this year when injuries and suspensions hit and we're even more light next year relying on very inexperienced players.
