I too would be quite surprised if he was sacked mid season. More likely an announcement that this season will be his last and the successor for 2018 announced.

I'd agree with this.

Generally, I think caddick/hetheringtons loyalty to coaches is admirable but surely after last year he's should be hanging by a thread and the fact that our problems from last year are still unaddressed doesn't reflect well.

We really can't wait that long other wise it will take us years to recover he has to go now,

The annoying thing is that this year should have started the rebuilding properly. Instead, despite what happened last year we've pushed any major squad changes to next year at the earliest.

BTW I don't think its just loyalty to BM that stopped Hetherington punting him. From some of his comments last year he bought into the excuses as much as anyone.

Getting the right coach is more important than getting a new coach imo. For that we may have wait . I think Sinfield would be the wrong option as he is too close to too many in a squad that needs some strong decisions.
