In response to a few of the sensible posts on here I would like to comment on the 'Bailey Leeds' 3rd prop'.
I don't quite agree.
JP is Number 1 no question. The Freak gets his place on merit and goes without saying.
But those who are placing Kylie above Ryan leaves me scratching my head.
Generally Kylie starts with JP. But with the inter-changes, Bailey will generally play more game time. So if people are selecting on that basis they need to widen their scope.
Don't get me wrong I like what Kylie does for us and I've showered him with praise over the years, epsecially when he is on fire. However on this years form Kylie has at times been ineffective/sub-standard from what we have seen and grown to love. Those days appear more often than his on form games this season.
Whereas TMFMISL's workrate overall has been huge for us (organising the middle territory in defence, cleaning up etc) then look at his form. Again, on the money.
When judging this, I ask who would be harder to replace? I know where I stand on this. Kylie has his moments of bell ringers and a hearty drive but seems to be in decline (age may be a factor) whereas Bailey is on the rise.
So for me:
1 - The Freak that is JP
2 - TMFMISL
3 - Hulk
