In all seriousness, Leeds are trying their best to offload Jack Walker, but given his reoccurring issues with his foot, nobody wants to risk it.

Unless he retires we'll be effectively stuck with him on the cap, at least in terms of planning. If/when he gets fit I imagine he'll be loaned out, but as of today they will have to include him in cap spend.

Walker wouldn't explain not signing a centre or the rumoured Olpherts signing but might explain the Hardaker issue.

Feel sorry for the lad. It’s his career that’s on the line.. such a shame. It’s also bad news for Leeds this situation.

Well Rohan got us to a GF with only half a season and from the bottom 3.
What can he do with a full pre-season?
Get rid of some dead wood.
We don't need any major signings.

Wouldn't put it past him.

We must have a centre incoming.
McDonald or Hardaker.
Ideally both.

Walker can't be deregistered unless his injury rules him out for the season before it starts. That may happen, but from all we've heard he's trying to get fit. If that's the case and he's due back even towards the back end of next season we can't just deregister him.

Yep. We are snookered at the moment. Suspect plan B might be to send two or three out on season long loans. I imagine things are moving pretty frantically behind the scenes.

The loan thing might really only work with Leigh as they will need some players and will have funds available to pay them.

Can't see any high earners being farmed out for a full season. There's a couple we could do without but equally there seems little reason why other clubs would want them either..

Hmmm.. not looking ideal is it heading into pre season.. next season could be a case of half a step forwards in terms of how the regular season goes, then a bigger step the season after. However, if we can keep Sezer, Newman and Fusitua fit (should he stay) and sign up Hardaker, we would be much much better week in week out. The big unknown in terms of other teams is how Saints will go under Wellens, they have still got a mighty strong squad so can't imagine they'll fall out of top 2. Wigan look very strong, that backline looks improved with Wardle coming in. Then i think it's a battle between us Catalan, Salford, Hudds for 3rd and below..
