The Academy boys have all really stepped up in the 2 games so far and none have looked out of place in SL
Some players will break into the first team squad whilst others will benefit from going out on a season long loan like Muiz, O'Connor and Mcllelland for 2021
The future of the club is certainly in good hands

Broadbent pick of the young ones for mine

Broadbent had Gelling in his pocket all night. Not bad for your second SL appearance. I think he could be a cracking player.
I watched a couple of his games for Batley when he stepped up from the academy and his transition was seamless
The lines he runs in attack are freakish for such a young kid
Broadbent is gonna be one hell of a player and he certainly looks ready for SL in 2021
Newman and Broadbent could both be International centre's in a couple of years
Tom Holroyd will be in the starting 17 next season
Sam Walters will be the big break through player for 2021 as he's been ready for a while for a shot in SL IMO
He has certainly looked the part after playing in SL and that's after not playing a game for 6/7 months.
A good off season will see Walters be exactly the type of player that the club were after when they went overseas and signed Achurch
I've also liked the look of Harrison from Fev too, he's certainly a work a holic that puts himself about, so maybe he will get a chance to earn a full time contract?
His dad also took that lower league route before making the grade
Bramley to Fev to Hull and then Halifax whilst also managing to represent GB
