Wouldn’t really say there is confidence in it. What he is confident about is that we are really hunting for a big name prop and we are willing to pull out the stops. Also he told me yesterday we are hunting for a 6. No names mentioned as of yet.

Singleton has never been able to produce any go forward, and at 28, I'm not sure he ever will.
33m from 9 carries against Saints, shocking, but he won't exactly match fit, to be fair to him.

Hopefully that big name prop is Thompson.

I think we need a 6 also. But we need to get rid of Lui first.

Not sure Singleton was brought in for his metre making runs tbh.
I reckon they brought him in for his defence and aggression which most Wigan fans seem happy with so far.
Don`t get me wrong I wouldn`t want him long term but as a short term fix for this season he would have done ok.
I thought Walker looked good before lockdown in March and I`m sure he will be better next season.
Then again I didn`t rate Newman when he came in but he started to prove me wrong until his leg break.
Thompson or Watts would be excellent signings.

I hope we actually do end up with our big nasty prop and not resort to Dave Fifita from Wakey when we dont secure the one we are looking for, also looks like we are after a new 6

Watts is Cas lad he won’t come to us, just can’t see that one. On a separate note Moley in Aus tweeting French is staying at Wigan
