It’s not where we need to spend quota slot though. A class 6 or a prop is priority

either way there backline is strong next season

So we have missed out on a guy we were at one time rumoured to be adding to our side and not only that he has gone to one of our major rivals . We have missed a trick here and once again we are stuck with a back line short of pace . There are few and far between young Oz players of class come on the market and Wigan have signed the only 2 worthwhile in French and Field .

Disappointing because he looks quality.Not sure how we would accommodate him in the team though

He also looks pretty lightweight. Remember we rolled Wigan in the cup Semi and we’re not at full potential yet as a side physically.

Players need to defend as well as look good going forward, but you don’t see missed tackles in the highlights reels.

The Rob Burrows of this world are very few and far between - but he was a physically very strong player despite being small.

Anyway we’ll see. We do lack pace without a doubt and I’m not sure any half in the club system has real pace either.

I seem to be in the minority but wasn't overwhelmed by Field. Yeah, he's got pace to burn and scored some highlight reel support tries, but I want more from a 6. Would rather bide my time for the right player for this team. We do need speed in the backs though
