I want an Aussie, not English, and someone with no ties to the current side, and put their own ideas in place. But I would like Burrow in some coaching role and Sinfield back at club in some capacity. I also want to see the first team separate to the academy coaching, and it is there where English would be better.

Like it or not, GH is in charge of the purse. Him and Caddick have overseen the transformation from perennial strugglers/ bridesmaids, into regular trophy winners. You just can't get it right all of the time. As a fan of many years, I'm pretty grateful to the two of them for the most successful period in the clubs history.

In that case the likelyhood is he sticks with Mac. Unless we go on a torid run of defeats and If we continue to hover around the top 4 and with a lot of focus on the new stand etc.. i don't see the CEO seeing a need for change not before next season at least.

And a new coach would require significant investment in the squad - which is not something I see GH doing anytime soon

Just because we had a good run of wins does not mean we are not entering a cross roads sometime soon for a lot of the squad and the coach. I still feel we need a new coach from next season, even if we went on an unbeaten run from Cas to the end of this year i would still hold that view because i'm looking at the bigger picture.

If you are happy with Mac and the way things are then no problem i won't knock you but i believe the debate on here is fair enough and any bad defeat like Thursday is bound to spark it again.
