Our sport is a results based business and last night was a result to beat them all. We all learn a bit of humility and put our hands up to say we have been wrong. After all our success with this current squad it becomes the norm to expect quality performances and if anyone says that in the first half of the season when I posted this thread that the team were playing anything like what they were capable of then they are deluded. Congratulations to our head coach and squad once again for a magnificent achievement and mostly to our CEO who has shown why he does the job he does and why most of us supporters dont.
Humble Pie required. No wonder your skipper condemns you all. Well done Leeds on winning the Grand Final shame your followers didnt believe in you.
“You are playing a game of football this afternoon but more than that you are playing for England, and more even than that, you are playing for right versus wrong. You will win because you have to win. Don’t forget that message from home. England expects every one of you to do his duty.”
Guarantee that if the same things are happening in April/May time next year as were happening this year, there will be people on here jumping up and down and demanding the heads of the coaching staff, Hetherington and all the players. Some people just never learn.
If it happens again next season any criticisms will be even more justified
Heard it all before. Now hows about getting behind your team for next season. Strange that Burrow, Sinfield and McDermott all mention it in the interviews after the game.
He's right we should all adjourn immediately and write some inane chants and create some flags. That'll show 'em.
PS There isn't just cringeworthy posts from Rhinos supporters. There's some choice ones from Wigan, Saints and Wire fans. If anyone wants a new sig then I'm sure there's something in there for everyone.
Why are people looking for cheap shots over others?
Can you not just celebrate an absolutely marvellous achievement and leave it at that?
Almost every poster on here throughout the season has critisized a player, players, the team, or the coach. At least one of those categories will be on just about all posters. But it doesn't really matter. If the team and coach used that for inspiration to tell us where to stick it, then so be it. Because this one, this year, is the greatest of the lot IMO.

Good post agree with it all, in this season most of us have had a bit of a pop at some time or other. I actually think the support hasn't been bad for the team from the fans. I have probably spouted some rubbish on here but every game I have cheered the players and not booed anyone.
Think the comments were more aimed at media rather than the fans
[watching Mackay testing the curry in the prison kitchens] Fletcher: Course, he sees 'imself as an authority on curry, he does, on account of where he was stationed in the army. Rudge: Where? India? Fletcher: No, Bradford.
