Both have been injury prone over the last few years, especially Fifita. Simms is also recovering from an MCL tear and hardly played in 2020.
I'm not sure either of these players would be good signings at this stage in their careers

I posted a few weeks ago from my source that we were gunning for Fifita and Thompson. I agree they would both be a risk, but our rigourous medical testing should help that, Kev is pretty hot on not signing crocked players.

I saw the Fifita + Simms rumour from that Rugby League ITK account.

Is that where everyone else saw it?

I saw it. He was wrong on Watson to Hull but right on Long to Leeds. Has a mixed record

Not convinced simms is the sort of player we need and reckon fifita is heavy and knackered now.

Despite having a knee and a calf injury last year Fifita still managed 12 games for Cronulla. Last four or five years he's played 20 or so. Hardly what I'd call injury prone. Luke Gale came with far more question marks than that. I think that there might be something in this rumour. His brother is already here, he knows Hurrell well and he is along time team mate of Prior.
