My Mum's been helping Ellery with his skating. Apparently he's a lovely fella and friendly to all at the ice rink. This is apparently in stark contrast to some other so called celebs who've been training there for this event in the past.

Not sure about that. I heard he was enthuiastic about obtaining things in his younger days. Honestly, he's a really nice guy.

I thought he had every right to refuse to deal with the media after the way they dealt with him early in his career.

How did they deal with him?

I recall his media stance and recall it was because he felt harshly treated early in his career but I don't know the specifics.
