I'd guessed what it was and you've just confirmed it.

On a slightly related note, I saw the other week they've finally changed the name of that stand, the one someone used to have as an avatar, after losing a race case. The club concerned, I forget who it was, claimed it was the players nickname due to the brand of shoe polish he used

You could have just said Carol Thatcher and have done with it.

Im not defending racism or condoning it in anyway but Ive recently returned from working in America (Bear with me; this aint a life story) where I was working with a good 20-30 Aussies. They were all genuine, nice people but on occasions they would say remarks which if uttered in England would get you in alot of Trouble. After a few discussions I found that Aussies regularly use words to describe people that if said in England would be deemed racist.... If the Manly player has outright been racist with malicious intent; then we do not need that in our game and he deserves punishment. A reason for Leeds' failure to pursue the comments may have been however that it was not meant in a racist way it was literally just a case of language barriers. Just a thought???

You can't honestly believe they don't know what they're saying or what affect it has on the person they're saying it to? Even If this is the case they are still being racist as ignorance is no defence.

Maybe the entire Australian population need educating

Surely Robinson should have included it in his report if both Diskin said something and Sinfield confirmed it. Or do players actually have to ask for something to be put in a refs report? I personally think that Robinson's failure to include it in his match report says a lot about him and perhaps he too needs to go on a racism awareness course.

In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Guilty until proved innocent?

Whilst OK for Australians, I can't see it catching on in a civilised country.
