Noble had them training this morning. He decided on the training ground to convey his message by using the "water bottles" method he used so well at half time at Odsal two years ago when they came back from the dead and beat the Bulls by a point.

Carefully he placed out the water bottles on the pitch to explain his tactics. I came away twenty minutes later - the bottle were winning thirty points to nil!

With there being no relegation for three years, I dont think they will sack him. But then again, I might just be proved wrong.....

If Wigan do sack Noble. Which in my opinion, (for what it's worth) would be idiotic even for Lancastrian's (is that spelt right). Who would they get to replace him?

No one. Theres no point in sacking Noble at this stage, as other posters have alluded to he has taken them to within 1 game of the grand final twice. IF and i do mean IF they are to get shot i would say it would be at the end of the season, isnt his contract up then?

no it wont be.

no team would have beaten leeds last night, your ball control was absolutely amazing and as a wigan fans I watched in amazement at how you controlled the game. You killed us in the 1st 20 minutes and thoroughly deserved the win. Dont think we can blame noble for that, bad day at the office for wigan, extremely good day at the office for leeds!

Leeds clicked for about 25 minutes helped by Wigan's poor performance (mainly crap ball control). This was not Leeds at their best it was Leeds beginning to find some good form and I wouldn't read too much into it. Just as I won't be reading too much into our first loss of the season, which may well be away at Saints next week.
