If Southampton lose at the weekend and get a 10 point deduction on Monday they are relegated anyway.

Also if Charlton lose at the weekend they are relegated

Only there for 8 games according to the local rag. Besides its not as if "the messiah" will be blamed even IF they lose all of the next 8 anyway theres plenty of guys to blame for that one.

I thought if they went into administration now the points were deducted next year? I'm sure I read somewhere that the deadline for points deductions this year had passed.

I'm guessing this is a new rule designed to stop alreay relegated teams taking the hit when it's basically irrelevant, e.g. like we did the other year.

He's got some, but not all, I think. He'll get special dispensation from the Premier League I would imagine. Saying that, has Dowie? They could officially call him the manager I suppose.

I'm hoping for Leeds v Newcastle on the Championship fixtures next year.
