Yep. So would i, but i'd make sure we were bringing in a top class centre before letting him go... then in reserve you'd have Ratu, Ben Jones Bish and Watkins.. with the latter being groomed to go left centre when Senior hangs his boots up. |

Re: Gibson, I reckon it depends on what sort of deal he's after and/or what sort of deal he can get elsewhere. The lad's got loads of talent, but whether he recovers well enough from his injuries to fulfill his potential remains to be seen. He's a risk well worth taking at the right price over the right period. |

I would keep him on. He has a decent amount of SL experience and is steady. The administration would know what the plans are for next year wrt a new centre, so that is what will drive it.

It depends on the wages he'd want.
He's a steady squad player, and a good option in a number of positions, if we could get him on a cheap deal I'd say keep him as a backup.

I would give him a 12 month extension and then review matters again.
If GH can get away with a centre partnership of Gibson and Watkins it will free up monies for a serious prop - which given the way Bailey and Burgess are going cannot come soon enough

He actually made his debut against leigh as a replacement for senior at LEFT centre and also scored a hat-trick in that position against HKR away!
I'd give him at least another yr then review it again plus he can also cover back-row,wing and FB so he offers us versatility and hopefully he will show the potential he showed when he first broke into the team. |
