I couldn't understand why Robbie didn't take both kicks esp since the final one was on the right side of the field for him and not for Smith.

Me neither but Smith took control of the first kick after Burrow appeared unsure who was second choice kicker.

Perhaps it was agreed beforehand that Burrow would protect his leg after his recent injury?
