I think the Leeds and Saints have gone backwards slightly, and that teams like Hudds and KR have improved.

Other signs that the balance of SL is changing is that the likes of Hull, Wire, Wigan and Bulls are struggling to make the 8. All traditional big teams, and struggling to keep pace.

Not sure how I think this affects the international teams. You could call it both ways really.

Its a difficult subject to comment on imo.

Looking back to the hard times I think we should appreciate the fact were up there in 2nd spot and on course for another GF win and possibly the hub cap.

I think Leeds are in a period of where they just have to hold tight for a year or 2 in terms of recruitment. We are short in the forwards and without a doubt this has affected the flair and glamour style about our game. We all know, or should know, that Burrow, Webb, Sinfield and McGuire have still got all the skills still. If the Eastwood transfer pulled off this thread might have been written totally different. I think some difficult decisions have been made incorrectly. We could have done with keeping Scruts.

Its ok saying we need to buy a centre, we need to buy a prop or 2 but all in all were in a recession, attendances are down, sponsorship around the stadia will be down and most of all GH has been given the task of finding a £Million or 2 to rebuild the south stand. Now is not the time to be splashing out.
