He hardly sounded like Carey Grant before the surgery! Just an observation……but I find it fascinating listening to him …..
He and long should have resigned. It would have been less of a shirt storm to hire agar two assistants on short term contracts and then had some sort of measured handover to a new boss. I'm disappointed neither saw fit to. That said, although I've made a couple of mocking comments, I'm gonna knock it on the head. What he's given the club far outweighs the bad imo.
JJB/Long is a difficult one. Unless we wanted Walker to be head coach they were the only viable choices. Its pretty unlikely a new coach will bring an entire set of assistants on day one, so they'll probably stay at least to the end of the season. But the new coach must have the power to get rid of them and bring his own people in if he sees fit at the end of the year. They need to prove themselves along with a heap of the players.
