100% agreed. Albert, Crosby, Cuthbertson, Dupree, Evans, Ward all leaving the club. Harrison and Ferres returning to Featherstone and Mustapha going out on loan to Hull KR.

We must have an abundance available on SC, especially with the wage cuts too.

The first couple of times Darth came out with this it was kinda believable, now he's kidding no one.

Its now become an unwanted yearly exercise of his to try and dampen down expectation on signings that just rubs people up the wrong way.

Look at wigans and saints squads, we are no where near their level of team, they should be pushing the cap to the max, we shouldn’t, ridiculous. Same old from Hetherington not wanting to spend and justifying it with the cup win

Spending the full cap on what? This current squad or with a couple of signings coming in?? There’s a subtle difference. Agar openly said before the pandemic struck that we had plenty of cap space to play with and was on the look out for a big time player. With the ins (Myler new deal etc) and outs then we’re surely still in that situation

Edit: I’ve read the interview and GH says we are recruiting and can spend the full cap as long as we can get some lost sponsors replaced and there’s hope that supporters will be back and buying season tickets. That’s fair enough and confirms we’re on the look out

Ideally need 2 props and maybe a 6, sounds like we might have to do with one prop with a dodgy knee

Perhaps the pay cuts that the players took this year have been deferred and will be paid in 2021?
Anyway, he doesn't say we are spending the full cap, he says that we can.

Two props and a six is clearly fantasy stuff and it would massively unlikely that would happen even without covid. As has been already posted agar has said before that he was looking for 1 top quality prop and if we get that the squad looks good to me.

If it's Andrew Fifita with the rumours of him having a shot knee - how many games will we get out of him a season?

Agreed.nobody wants to buy a crock.especially one who is supposed to be a standout player on massive money.
