But that's just the problem isn't it. By it's very nature an affair is built on lies, dishonesty, disloyalty and deception. Nobody knows what else about that person is built on the same principles. He may well have been having it away with other people - just because he has been exposed (excuse the pun) once, doesn't mean he will suddenly confess to any other immoral activities he has been getting up to (again, excuse the pun).
