Really solid performance. Rodon, Struijk, Ampadu and Joseph - top drawer. Aaronson lost the ball more times than he'd like, but was superb off the ball.
Spurs media also reporting we're close to signing Manor Solomon from Spurs on loan. If he can stay fit, that's a top signing, prem quality player.
Yeah very classy performance that. Gnonto was brilliant drifting in at 10. Aaronson very good too as were Joseph and the midfield. DJ finish and flick for the first goal were sublime.
Solomon very good player and can play right across the line. Has fitness issues though but gives us depth. We had 4 wingers last year so this is same again. Wonder if Gnonto will go to 10 or we will still look to bring an out n out 10
That’s a really good result in the context of what’s been happening. Only one change, but as soon as you get Poirot out of the way we look a more balanced team. Aaronson is a bit lightweight on the ball but his work ethic and running in behind defences make it a no brainer when it’s a straight choice between him and Piroe for a starting spot. Dan James once again showed there’s no substitute for pace in a team. Defenders can’t mark space, and as soon as Joseph played that lovely ball into space there was only one outcome with someone as fast as James. Credit to Joseph, despite not scoring I think he still works unselfishly and the goals will come. All round good effort from the lads last night.
I said a bit back gnonto could play 10. he was supurb last night
Me too Tad. He`s more a 10 than an out and out winger for me. Agree about Aaronssen and was thinking how powderpuff he is getting bullied every .time and then he goes and grabs a goal. If I were Farke I`d stop picking Bamford and hope he asks to leave. Trouble is nobody would buy him. For me he can go for free to save on his salary.
