Think the boat sailed on Field when we decided to retain Myler, who had been Toronto bound. As well as Myler has played this year I would rather have pushed for Field, who would have brought the genuine game breaking speed we lack at both stand off and full back. Sure plenty disagree with that though.

Well said..no point banging on about Field when it’s a middle that we need more than anything. Also Field is a gamble not exactly secured a place in the NRL anywhere.

Why are people banging on about Jai Field as if he's Mitch Moses, or James Tadesco? He's the Australian Ryan Hampshire, without the junior pedigree.. It reminds me of when our fans kept moaning about us not signing Ryan Brierley and Greg McNally a few years ago.

Prop has to be the only priority. Get Lui in shape and get McClelland working with Long, Sinfield and Gale, and that should give us a reasonable amount of depth in the halves.

We need two Props. Most teams have at least half a dozen we have two starters one that plays 13 plus young Tommy.

It's me who keeps bringing Field up. Just think we've missed a bit of a hidden gem.

The thing is without a new, first grade quality prop our season next year could easily get derailed.

Finding the right person, quality and at the right cost is very difficult but let’s keep fingers crossed. If we’re serious about moving up the table we need moving-up-the-table signings.
