Trebor is correct - this is a crucial period.

If you read between the lines promotion needs to happen this season or it will be catastrophic for the club.

If it is so crucial we have to get promotion this season which I`m sure it is.
Then why were we looking at the bargain basement once again in order to bring quality to the club?
We have known for 3 years we need a striker and a 10 and yet we didn`t get either.
Speculate to accumulate should have been our mantra this year especially as we brought in so much money with transfers out of the club.
For me it`s a no brainer.

We've apparently got money to spend so should just go for it and spend our way to the title. Am I right in thinking a breach of PSR this year wouldn't be able to be enforced if we went up anyway?

There should be no need to spend much more, there's enough quality in this squad to get the job done. There are no excuses.

Well we can't now, but come January, we might need to throw money at someone who can make a difference. Be it transfer fee or someone's wages on loan.

I still think we needed a 10 and possibly a 9 JB.
On the basis Bamfords always injured and Joseph was untried at this level.

Yeah they could do a Leicester... it's a big gamble though.
