People that show remorse deserve second chances.
I hope that's the case if he does sign. I thought the same as you when we signed Lui, who seemed to have turned a corner (while at Salford?) since his original discretion.
But mud sticks, as they say. Fans of other teams will point to Leeds, put two and two together, and come up with 20. It wasn't that long ago that GH was berating the Catalans for trying to sign Greg Bird (or was it Todd Carney?) for this kind of thing. I guess the difference at the time was that the player in question didn't seem to be showing remorse?
