Update today is that Hardaker is still expected to leave with a deal hopefully done this week.

Yes, the event was a bonfire but that's not really the point. It would seem strange to go to an official Cas event given the current circumstances and the strong rumours he may join Cas. I would imagine he spent the night giving vague answers to supporters!

Cas fans have been some of the most vitriol over hardaker and his behaviour, hope he signs for them just to see how quickly they change there spots. But I think he will be at Salford of Giants

There's also the small matter of Zak abusing Cas fans on Twitter during one of his meltdowns, saying he'd never play for such a tin pot club.

By the same token, Leeds fans have been very forgiving and forgetful of Hardaker's serial miscreancy for several years, up until the club finally decided he was a toxic influence and wanted rid. Those same fans have changed their spots and now want rid of him too. It's almost as if their opinions are directed by the club... baa-aaa-aaa.

I'm a Rhinos fan who will be sad to see him go.
The overall saga reflects badly on the club that they could not get him to alter his ways but even more so on Hardaker who seems incapable of listening to advice given that was well-meant.
Seemingly likely to be going to the Giants.

Really? ALL Leeds fans? I recall a lot of critism of Hardaker on this forum. I suspect over a period of time, most came to the same conclusion as the club appear to have, that the ability he has, was outweighed by the perpetual brain farts that seem unherent in his character.

Still why let reality curb your zeal for a wind up and a pop at the club and its fans?
