We miss Ampadu but they had far too many strikes at goal for my liking. We’re better when we go forward so let’s hope we spend more time doing that over the course of the season.

Rothwell and Gnonto had great games.

Would have taken a draw before kick off but defs two points lost.

No surprises Meslier messed up, he just isn’t good enough. And now his confidence will be low and he will make more mistakes.

Think I`ve just about calmed down now and like others have said would have settled for a draw at the start.
Gut wrenching that Meslier holds that ball it`s game over and we take the 3.
Meslier does strike me more of a deep thinker type keeper and I just hope he can put it out of his system save a penalty and goes again.
I do think we should look to play 3 in midfield with Ampadu or AN other alongside Rothwell and Tanaka.
I`m assuming the following will be away on International duty:
Darlow, Rodon, Firpo, Tanaka, Crew, Gnonto, Aaronssen and Joseph.
With Firpo, Tanaka and Aaronssen arriving back Thursday before we play Blades on the Friday.
Don`t suppose they have anyone travelling home late by any chance?
