I'm struggling to understand how they've deemed that Dwyer's sin binned tackle is worthy of further punishment, but Currie knocking Fusitua out isn't.
That it was accidental is surely neither here nor there - Dwyer didn't mean to tackle late but he got ten minutes and now a match ban. Fact is that Currie hit Fusitua in the head with his shoulder - that's his fault as it's his shoulder and his responsibility to make sure he doesn't knock people out. As a result we lost our winger for the second half and the next match, we didn't even get a penalty and Currie is free to carry on.
They're either serious about player welfare or they're not. This sends out the message that they're not particularly.
