I don't think penalties for foul play get reversed for what Welsby did, the ref simply didn't think it was a penalty which is mad.

We only have ourselves to blame for blatant indiscipline but that was also blatant indiscipline. Was strange, particularly for a televised game!

Anyway, well done Leeds. Genuinely hope we get proper competition amongst the bigger teams this year - Wire, Wigan, Wolves, Catalans all being up there challenging would be good for the league.

I find it amusing that you were adamant that Welsby should have got a "clear red card" last week and then claim that isn't a shoulder charge.

Methinks someone is a little rattled by all the success Saints are having

Enjoy the win - well deserved. Hopefully Leeds can back it up as a lot of teams crumble the week after they've managed to go 80 with Saints.

Correct Shabs. It wasn't high.
But it was a shoulder charge and should have been penalised, We got away with one there. But Saints got plenty of calls in the game.
Someone needs to speak to Welsby. He can't take the law into his own hands - and he has ultimately cost them the game.
Myler was whacked 3 times. All were, quite rightly, punished.
Did our players come flying up the pitch to start on the player? No.

Did well to win and kept going which was key and means Smith has beaten every side bar Leigh.

We still blew the first chance to drop a goal and got lucky with a rebound from the kick and 6 again.

Hurrell’s was a nailed on red card. Thought Sione was a bit lucky to only get yellow in first half, sezer bleeding out of the back of his head all game. Walters looked a foul to me and we finally got a break of Kendall.

They are still miles ahead overall and were in control until they ran out of gas.

Great to see both halves and Martin play well. The smith try was made from saints concern about big Justin meant Walters had chance to run at Dodd and offload.

They would have been very tired but clearly had a temperament meltdown without the machine that is Roby.

We will be up and down but Rohan is going the right way and we need to stick with it and the chance for a young pack to emerge and grow, mik , Jared, Tommy, Walters, Gannon, smith, McDonnell, Justin and warren to come.

We are Leeds, we ain’t most teams, we crumbled for 2 weeks before going 80 with Saints.
