Personally if we signed Battye I could live with that. Can’t think of any other Props that might be available that are good enough or more importantly fit enough.

But do they realistically have even a medium term future with us if we are going to win something? It's a tough call.

If Ava goes we need to replace with a player as good or better. That is the only way the squad will move forward. Neither Battye or Harrison are close to that level in my opinion, although I do think Harrison could be an interesting and affordable squad strengthener. Agar said the other day that they were talking to a number of players. I'm sure they will have somebody in mind.
