I understand that KS and other Directors have pinned their trust on Agar. He is the man going forward. Lets hope he can succeed, a period of stability at the club is needed.

You are joking right? Agar is a clown as a head coach as proved several times in the past.if this is the case then god help us.

So if they haven’t found or can’t get the right man for the job immediately they shouldn’t back the interim coach just because some fans don’t rate him? What do you want them to do, just appoint someone to appease the fans?

This is what I’m saying about fans having short term vision.

I agree with you on many points Christopher but that's not what I'm saying. Yes fair enough get behind agar but its sounding more and more like the club are keeping him for a good while yet which is clearly flawed. We are in grave grave danger of relegation and coaches of the calibre of Wane or Flanagan are available. Surely Leeds can bring one of those on board in the very near future. Agar does not want the job so we need to get a move on sharpish.

IMO Tony Smith would have been the ideal candidate short term to steady the ship and to also implement his strict coaching structures to our players

I'm sure that if Smith had been given an 18 month deal that he could have remedied our reported poor culture and work ethics problems out within our club before then either handing over the reigns to "our chosen one" that will take the club into the next generation,or to have even have stayed on if he had been successful in his role

I'm quite sure if offered it, at least until the end of the season, he would take it.

I always thought relegation was never going to happen this season and certainly don't think it would have were we to stick with furner but what has transpired since and if we were to stick with Agar you better believe it could happen. Massive game this weekend and i just can't see how we can just suddenly turn in a performance of guts which will be needed against a resurgent London who will have been seeing this as a cup final for weeks.

Big few weeks coming up; how they are handled could be the difference between staying up or dropping into the championship.

Apart from people on here, where has the club said the job is Agars long term? He’s even said he doesn’t want it long term.

You do realise the club could be well on in there search for the next Manager, funnily enough they don’t have to run everything past posters on an internet forum, or the press for that matter.

Rushing in a coach to appease fans now would not be the sensible thing to do.

Sacking Furner without a plan or successor lined up makes no sense. All we can go off is the signals so far and it doesn't look good.

The whole set up from scholarship upwards Could use fresh blood, there's people who've been around for 20yrs plus and some jobs for the boys.
