I just think its lunacy to move multiple players when one gets injured - by the way I'm not talking about during a game, that's needs must. We need squad players who can fill in as required. Moving Miller or Momirovski and Martin if one winger gets injured is the sort of thing that quickly ends up with the whole team in a mess as it knocks on elsewhere. Not to mention diluting the ability of the likes of Miller to influence a game. Far better train Roberts, Edgell up to play on the wing if needed.

In this specific scenario it's not lunacy at all. Momirovski has played for three of the best club sides in the world at both centre and wing. Martin spent nearly all 2023 at centre and did a very creditable job. I'm really not sure about Robert's in general, and although he has time to develop, I just don't think he's an SL standard winger. The game has moved on from throwing young (out of position) lads onto the wing and hoping they'll make a go of it. It's a specialist position nowadays.

Roberts got steadily better last year. Not a word beater but serviceable. I think he looked better in the centre though.

I didn’t mind Roberts mostly. I don’t think he is the next Paul Newlove but if he’s surrounded by good players he can do a job.

I do agree that it’s generally better to keep players in preferred position - this is why the continued development of the young players this pre-season is really important so we can use them.

It's a much better squad than in previous years for sure. The only question really is do we have enough strength in depth if we get a few key injuries. DO we have quality in the rosta for players to fill secondary roles. Hoepfully they all stay fit but over the course of a season you are bound to lose players for a few weeks here and there. Only time will tell..
Another Barrie McDermott style prop would be good..

We would need 3 Barrie Mc , when one gets banned the others would play .
Would Alex Walmsley be the new Fielden ?

I agree on the business side he is very good.
However does this include recruitment ?
Rugby side we need new ideas.

Not a Leeds fan, so don’t know much in terms of detail, but think you’d always have to question the judgement of a man who once looked across a room, saw Kath and thought mmmm tasty!

It's a good job business acumen isn't directly related to the physical appearance of their spouse. Dragons Den would be a totally different program.

Not all people are shallow enough to be attracted to someone solely on looks.
