It sounds it. But it is rather at odds with most other reports, where he seems to have given the impression that it will be Eastwood's choice whether to come to Leeds or stay at the Bullfrogs next year.

Perhaps we should get SBW from French RU on a reciprocal deal with the Bulldogs, so that we have him on loan for the rest of this season subject to fitness & he swaps places with GE in Dec 09.

I've absolutely no idea if they would or not, but then neither do you.
Like I said "just a thought", if not Canterbury, maybe some other club would be interested.
What other players of international class are or maybe available?
Should we put in a bid for Westerman, at least it would have an unsettling effect on the Tigers which could be amusing?
