How many times has that been suggested?? Well over a dozen times I'd imagine. He seems to have the backing of the board, probably due to the fact that they can't pay him off. I get the feeling they could lose 50 - 0 to us on Friday, and he'll still be there. But he is not the man for the job. He has had time, made the team his own through signings (regardless of how much money he has had to spend, they are his turkeys) and they are still failing. More so than ever, when you look at the meltdown they've had in the last 2 games. Any other Super League club would have won those games. The problem lies very deep, it's a mental issue, no question. It's not wholey the coaches fault, but he doesn't have the composure to coach at this level. He gets flustered and panics, so that transfers through the team. If he's not going to get pushed, maybe it's time to jump. He can't seriously believe he can turn it round. But if he was to walk, I can hardly see him walking into a Super League coaching role. Maybe Fev can do something for him.

Would you walk in this financial climate?

It would also seem stupid to fire McNamara now. With playing Catalans away you wouldn't expect them to arrive back until Monday, meaning that any new coach would have a maximum of 3 days to work with them before Fridays game, not allowing for any necessary recuperation. Then with another game on Monday, followed by whenever they play the following weekend, would mean that in his first 2 weeks the coach would have virtually no time to implement any changes. If I were the Bradford board I'd wait until after this run of games before making any change.

| With relegation out of the equation this year, you could find that he stays in place a little longer. Just because the fans have expectations doesn't mean the board do. they must surely be to blame for the poor quality in playing staff as they are cleaerly way under full cap (or should be).
If thats the case, then Bulls will not be able to compete with the other clubs who are simply able to spend more on players. You can hardly blame the coach if he has one hand tied behind his back

| The ideal time for sacking McBanana now would be after the Magic Weekend, gives a new bloke a clear 2 weeks with the players with the following weekend off.

Why is that so funny? If they sack McNamara now, the new coach has virtually no time to implement any of his ideas for over two weeks. Much better to wait until after MM weekend as suggested by Oldham Rhino.

I don't know what the Bulls have to lose. I mean it's hardly going to disrupt form and results is it? Seeing as they've waited this long, they may as well look for one in 2024 when they're playing Stanley Rangers.

I just think when you change the coach it brings a lift to the whole club, this could be lost before he has any time to get started by sacking him now. I do agree a change is needed though as they are already 5 points off the top 8.
