Can this reason in any way explain why some players have lost confidence and if so is that not just another off field problem the coach has had to cope with?

Nothing to do with others.

Although the other player who asked to end his contract could be attributed to that.

Correct, and no NRL club will fork out £300k for him.

And which SL club would fork out the same?

It would have to be a RU club with money to burn.

There'll be no financial killing made like when Harris was sold to Welsh RU.

If the current MofS cant get a gig in the NRL then SL might as well pack in all together
Hardaker should choose wisely though, he should go to a team that actually needs him or could end up not getting a fair crack like Burgess at the Roosters

If there are genuinely personal reasons for him to go to aus, it surely can't benefit him to stay longer than he has to? And if this is the case, do we i) not play him when fit as his hearts not in it, or ii) play him and hope he plays well so his value doesn't drop?
