I appreciate that, and obviously he could't have as high a win percentage as someone which came in, won something and left (ala McGuire at Wigan).
But I still think that if you look at his win percentage compared to our other coaches we have had in SL (who didn't have as good teams as he had), as well as his league finishing positions, it shows a great deal of inconsistency.
For me he needs to prove he can get this team in the top 4 (or top 6 with the CC) to keep his job beyond this year.
You mention it will be his 7th season, perhaps the club needs a shake up to refresh thing? There are not many managers in world sports that stay in the same job that long.
