Read the post I put on page 1 from his YEP interview about his groin injury and how much pain he was in with. Guy can't have been able to do much fitness work when he was struggling to get in and out of a car or bed.

In all seriousness though, I thought Friday was his best performance in a Leeds shirt and will hopefully get better as his fitness returns.

Ferres is the same size if not bigger than a lot of SL props. The plus is he's got more mobility and stamina, despite extra weight etc. I'd rather him be playing for us than against us.

He got the same treatment as Briscoe did at Magic. Playing badly, after his second try costing error, he was hauled off.

If anyone should have been rested after friday it is Ferres.he can barely get through a game a week with his current fitness levels.

I agree with biff re. Ferres playing too long. I fear we will suffer at some point in few weeks ahead due to work done by cuthbo, ferres, parcell and a few others in this past weekend.
Ferres may be big, strong etc but he ain't mobile at the moment.

The weekend showed our squad limitations. Cas brought in foster and larroyer to help share the burden. We drafted in Walters and ormondroyd at last minute to the 18, having a shorter turnaround after playing Saturday for Fev.

This year looks like second in a row where no 19 year old is offered a contract from the academy and the likes of smith, Jordan Roberts are not SL ready.

Fat Ferris needs to concentrate on his rugby rather than extra curricular activities.
A waste of space, could go back to Huddersfield for me but they wouldn't want him.
Maybe Bradford will take a risk on him.

Ferres is trying to play himself back to fitness which is never easy. If it was then there'd be no need for all that pre-season work. That said, he does still look to be at risk of an Elvis-style demise.
