It is and Martin has copped for probably the 2 most ridiculous bans of the lot this year, how did the cas player who was binned not get a ban?!

If the ban does stand I hope it galvanises us further and we go in to battle for him.

The MRP are clearly giving bans based on the player reaction.
Mellor stays down holding his face, so therefore he must have been hit in the face.....
Players are realising this and are staying down - Levi did it against us the other week.
We're in danger of going the way football started to go 30 years ago and has now become a total joke - a non-contact sport.
I'm glad my Dad and Grandad (both ex-pro's) are not around any more to see how soft the game is becoming!!

I've watched Untold Operation Flagrant Foul on Netflix today. Without giving any spoilers, there's a bit where a referee is talking about the NBA's agenda to have certain players and teams available, on the court and in the playoffs. It made me think about Super League and what's happening with the MRP. Then this ban is announced and it makes even more sense. There needs to be an investigation into corruption in the sport. This has happened too many times to just be unlucky.

Opposing coaches need to be vocal on the frivolous suspensions of opposition players for the frustrations to be heard, they all need to stand up together.

A couple of years ago I would have called this mental, but you do have to wonder. You only have to look at what is coming about with ex Premiership referees now speaking out about being told to give a certain amount of free kicks and fouls to specific clubs.

They deemed it worthy of a ban, even if it is soft. An appeal takes it to a 2 game ban, guaranteed.

I can't believe that has led to a ban. Players missing play-off games for things like that is an absolute disgrace.

Didn't even lead to a penalty in the game. Non of the Cas players made a fuss and rightly so. The committee appears to be a group with too much time on their hands and far too much power. This is the same lot who let Kasiano off for belting Dywer round the chops last week. Something stinks rotten.
